This place doesn’t seem geared toward kids or families, more toward hunters. Even the pool rules felt over the top: no jumping, and you have to use the steps, with no gentle hopping in or out at the edge. They could at least warm the pool. Staff tried to be friendly, though the strict rules made that difficult. Bringing any drink to the pool, even bottled water, can mean a $250 charge. Breakfast tasted odd, had limited choices, and wasn’t anything special. As a former housekeeper, I also thought the rooms needed better cleaning, and they should check that the TV is connected before leaving the room. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

We come here one to three times a year and always stay here. The prices are good, the rooms are clean and spacious, and they keep the towels and amenities stocked. Breakfast changes every day and is always yummy. The pool and jacuzzi are a big part of why we love it, along with the amazing staff. Staying here is one of our favorite parts of these trips.

The staff are always great, and I stay here several times a year for a week at a time. This visit, the TV service went out. They came and fixed it when I reported it, but it was gone again the next day. Since it was 11 pm, I didn’t bother them. I accidentally spilled fine chips on the floor and picked up what I could. After I asked for full service, there were still crumbs, though I did get fresh towels.

The crews from our window and siding business have stayed here before, and we’ll keep booking it whenever work brings us to town. Melissa and her staff are fantastic, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and breakfast is hot. The location and Wi-Fi are good too.
