The room was nice and the location was fine, but the service was bad enough that I’d give it zero stars if I could. I booked online through Choice Hotels, the parent company of Comfort Inn, a week ahead. While looking at the insurance options, I decided not to add them. The Choice Hotels site reset my dates to that day, even though I was booking for the following week. I didn’t catch the change and completed the reservation for the wrong date, then was charged the full price as a no-show. A few days later I contacted the hotel and left my details to ask whether they could recover some or all of the money. They said the general manager would get in touch if she could help. It’s been over a week, so I’m fairly sure she’s unwilling to. I also contacted the corporate office, and they said the cancellation policy meant they wouldn’t help either. I’ll take some responsibility for the mistake, but I think Choice Hotels should take some of the blame too. They can issue a refund, they just know they aren’t legally required to. This is where Choice Hotels or Comfort Inn could show a little humanity.

The breakfast crew are great, and the fire pit is the bomb. This place has an outstanding facility, and the team is always professional and competitive. The management team is incredible, especially Lynette and Amanda. After years of staying here, I know everyone’s names, and they know mine. They get excited when they see my reservation, and it always feels like family. Thanks for going above and beyond. That deserves to be recognized. When I visit family in my hometown, I’ll never stay anywhere else.

The staff made this trip, they were kind, helpful, and fun. They even celebrated with my son when he came back from his games. The breakfast was amazing, and the pool and fitness area were top notch. Everything was perfectly clean, too. We were a family of five here for a five-night Little League state tournament stay, and the King suite worked perfectly for us. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

We’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn of Adrian many times since it opened. The place is consistently clean, the service is accommodating, and everyone is always friendly. Lynette is a real team leader.

We enjoyed our stay, and if we come back to Michigan we’ll stay here again. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was good. One suggestion: an ATM on site would help. The washers and dryers on each floor need quarters, and I had to go to the bank to get some. Signs explaining that would’ve helped.
