The check-in with Sophia was smooth, and she kindly moved us after we found a huge bug in the shower of our first room. But the problems kept piling up. We could hear the neighboring rooms clearly, even water running and someone blowing his nose, and the AC gave off a vinegar smell whenever it was on. Air fresheners didn’t get rid of it. We requested daily cleaning, but one day the room was left untouched despite housekeeping saying it had been done. Towels were still on the bathroom floor, beds were unmade, trash remained, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned or the floors vacuumed. I also found a spider hanging from the ceiling in its web. The next day, the cleaner had tossed my pillow onto the floor; when I came back for something, she just looked at me with a terrible attitude. That night housekeeping had turned the AC down to around 40 degrees, leaving the room freezing. The front desk apologized when we reported everything, but that didn’t undo the experience. I’ve stayed at Marriott hotels all over the US and never had this happen. I won’t return.

The location was handy for our one-night stop on the drive home from Tennessee, with lots of restaurants nearby and a mall a few blocks away. We didn’t try the pool, though it looked inviting, and breakfast is included for guests. The staff were courteous, and our room was very clean. Fairfield Inns are usually dependable for quality and service, and this one lived up to that.

We were in town for the Combos marathon weekend and stayed one night. The room was really clean, the service was great, and they let us check out later since we were running the marathon.

After a bad experience at another hotel down the road, we walked in to ask about a room. Adrian was welcoming and did everything she could to help. She turned what had been a rough situation into a really good stay. The room was spotless, and the mattress was surprisingly comfortable for a hotel. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend the place.

The carpet needs a shampoo, and the room felt dated. There was a funky smell and a little roach in the shower. Just felt gross.
