The room’s stone wall, wood plank ceiling, lovely bathroom, coordinated decor, and especially the comfortable bed and linens made it a place I hated leaving. The Hereford felt like a home away from home, and I enjoyed it enough to make the drive to Albany when I’m visiting Breckenridge just to stay there again. So many small choices made us comfortable: a restroom nightlight, both a handheld shower and a rain shower head, shower controls by the walk-in entrance, a Vornado air circulating fan, light-blocking curtains, bottled water for our coffee, and a hair dryer for styling. We also appreciated being steps from the steakhouse next door after a wonderful dinner and goblet-sized margaritas. I truly loved our stay.

The suite was lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bottled water was a nice touch, and the bed and linens were comfy. We also enjoyed the restaurant that shares the parking lot. Booking and check-in were easy, and if we pass this way again, we’ll definitely stay here.

The electric fireplace made the suite feel especially cozy, and the kitchenette was handy for coffee and light meals. We also liked winding down by the outdoor firepit in the peaceful surroundings. The Collins Creek has a distinctive rustic feel, but the suite was comfortable too, with a very comfortable bed and a spacious, stylish bathroom with quality fixtures. Everything felt deliberately put together, not cookie-cutter, and the place felt like a retreat. We’d absolutely stay again if we’re looking for a boutique place with character and a touch of rustic luxury.

Goodnights Restaurant and bar served wonderful food and drinks, and the hotel was easy to check in and out of. The rooms were fabulous and had everything we could want, including a fireplace, fridge, and outdoor patio with a fire pit. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a nice big shower. I’m looking forward to another stay.

10 out of 10, we’d stay at The Hereford again. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. My 91-year-old father was comfortable and enjoyed the fireplace in his room. Thanks for the upgrade. I’d recommend the hotel.
