Days Inn by Wyndham Albion

I’ve been coming here for the past three years as a frequent traveler, and this year’s major renovations left the facilities in excellent shape. I really loved my stay. They also opened a swimming pool this year, which was a great addition. Based on my experience, this is one of the best budget hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’m not sure why some people are posting negative reviews.

The front desk associates were really sweet, and I liked the way they treated me. Service at the property was top notch, and the rooms were clean. I think they’re actively renovating since my last visit. The place is right on the I94, on the way to Chicago and towards Detroit, too. I’d definitely suggest staying here.

After driving all morning and spending the day at a track meet, we were too tired to go find another hotel. The room was falling apart, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the bed felt like a box spring with a thin layer of foam over it. They advertise breakfast, but there wasn’t even coffee in the morning. We left early at 7am. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!

The hygiene was appalling, with cockroaches and ants in the property, and the whole stay was distressing and unacceptable. The heater only worked partly and wasn’t effective, while the lighting was faulty and unreliable. Everything felt neglected, unsafe, and poorly maintained. I provided photos and videos as evidence. Booking here was a serious mistake. This place is completely uninhabitable and shouldn’t be listed at all. I strongly warn others to avoid it entirely.
