The leather chair and footrest were a nice touch, and the room had been updated with cable and fast internet. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They allowed our three dogs for a single $10 pet deposit for the night. The pet area was tiny, with gravel or wood chips and no grass, but that worked for us since our dogs travel well and follow directions. I really had no complaints.
For the nightly price, this is a very good value, and the pool and guest areas are great. The motel looks newly renovated. Pets are allowed, but the outdoor spot for them is a dirty little corner at the far back, about 12ftX12ft, and it doesn't seem to get cleaned. The grassy areas are all marked no pets, apparently because some owners don't pick up after their dogs. It isn't a good choice if you want your pet to have time outside.
The rooms were clean and inexpensive, and the manager was excellent. The front desk was welcoming too. This is the friendliest Comfort Inn I've ever stayed at! :-)
