Days Inn by Wyndham Albuquerque I-25

I stayed for two weeks, and every day there was no sugar or creamer for the coffee. One day there wasn't even any coffee. Don't stay here. At check-in, the woman at the front desk was rude and didn't speak English very clearly. I paid for three nights, then two more, but when I went to pay for another night they claimed one of the earlier nights was unpaid. I showed them my bank statement, which showed I had paid. The next day, housekeeping confronted us about our dog and demanded past and current pet fees. I explained the website only said pet friendly and gave no place to list a pet. Then they tried charging my card for the pet fee in the middle of the night. They also enter your room when you're out even if you put a do not disturb sign on the door.

The ice machine was disgusting, with all the ice frozen into one big chunk and a scoop lying inside that didn't look washed. After touching it, you're meant to put it back in with the ice. The breakfast had a waffle maker and a tiny room-size coffee pot, but there was no coffee pot in the room as advertised. There wasn't a phone in the room either. I called the desk from my cell several times about the noise and got no answer. I assume the worker making all that noise was ignoring the ringing phone. The rooms run down an indoor hallway, so sound echoes. A worker was throwing things around and cleaning loudly in the middle of the night, with music playing from their phone. The tables had visible dirt, the chair and sheets looked dirty, like the bed had just been remade, and the room itself was dirty. There were lots of homeless people nearby digging through the trash.

The room wasn't bad for the price, and the neighborhood wasn't bad either, just a little different from what you see driving in. Still, don't expect much. The door didn't even have a lock, and you'd be better off spending a few extra dollars somewhere else or sleeping in your car than dealing with them. I left an expensive item in the room, but the location doesn't answer calls or try to help. You can tell they don't care. A lot of the bad reviews seem to come from people expecting the Four Seasons for less than $50 a night.

The first room had dirty towels, just folded and left on the shelf, and bedding that looked dirty, like the bed had only been remade. I took the towels down to show the front desk, and they at least apologized and moved me to another room. That room had bugs too. While lying in bed, I could feel something crawling on me.
