Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque West

The room was basic but good for the price. It was clean, the TV worked, and there was hot water with good pressure. I had a problem with the heater that I didn't notice until nighttime. The guy in the office said, “I want you to be happy,” and moved me to another room without any trouble. He even walked down with me to make sure the heater there worked. Fantastic, friendly, and helpful staff. I'd definitely go back.

The staff had a vending machine by the front office, but there wasn't much in it. There was no ice machine or laundry, and no fridge in the room. A safe was sitting on a random box by the TV, which only got about ten channels, including a couple of local ones. The pool wasn't open, and there was no breakfast at all in the morning. The room door had to be slammed to shut. The toilet rocked, the bed was lumpy and uneven, and the pillows were hard. The place looked like it had been painted with the landlord special, and mold seemed to be forming on the shower caulking. I paid for a handicapped room for my elderly mother and my child on crutches, but they both struggled in the slippery tub. If you just need somewhere to sleep and shower, it is technically a place to stay, but be wary of how little there is compared with the amenities listed on the website and travel sites. I won't return and will tell others not to either.

The room was filthy all around. The floors looked like they hadn't been swept in ages, there was hair in the shower that wasn't head hair, and the furniture was chipped. The mattress had drag marks, holes, and stains. When my daughter pulled back the sheet and moved the bed skirt, she found a big rotted or stained patch on the floor that had been hidden. I asked for a refund this morning, but the front desk woman was rude and argumentative from the moment I brought it up. There was a dumpster outside the rooms. The night desk manager did apologize in advance for that. The pool wasn't running because of the heater, and that was the main reason for our stay. Overall, it was awful.

There was no one at the desk to check me in. This hotel takes your money. The manager, I think his name was Sean, was rude and yelled at people. That's not okay. I'm angrier about how they handled the situation and treated people. I'll be filing a report with Wyndham, and I'll definitely stay far away from this place.
