Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque Airport

The desk clerk was really nice and helpful, and I’d use this place again if I needed a crash pad by the airport. It’s fine for a night when you want to be nearby. The WiFi was slow, and the bathroom shower needed recaulked. Having to pay for parking is annoying, though I guess it keeps randos from leaving their cars there. They could just give guests a note for the dashboard, though.

The rooms were good enough, but the service was crap. We had a 4:45am flight and called that morning to ask them to have the shuttle ready so we could get ten more minutes of sleep. They made us come to the desk in person instead of calling it, which any decent person would have done. The showers are incredibly small, too.

The room was fine and the night clerk was very nice, but I’d choose somewhere else next time because of the parking charge. I’ve been a Hilton member for a long time and arrived around 12:15 am, leaving at 7am. I was surprised to have to pay to park, since this isn’t a downtown hotel where outsiders might use the lot, and nearby places have their own parking. They wanted me to pay through a third party app. I declined and put it on the bill. The sink taps had hot and warm water, but no cold.

Mariana was so helpful when Expedia messed up another reservation. I was there late at night trying to sort it out with two small children, and they were great. The place was extremely clean and quiet, and in a great location.
