Extended Stay America Suites Temecula Wine Country

Laura, Neil, and Hilda make me feel welcome every time, almost like I’m being welcomed into a second home. I first stayed at the Temecula property for one night in early February, then came back weeks later for a longer stay because of how I’d been treated. During that check-in, Neil, who’s in management training, searched every floor for a luggage cart so I could bring my things in from the car. He also went out of his way to address the lamps in my room. Laura is always smiling and welcoming, whatever the day or situation. I’ll recommend Team Temecula/Extended Stay America to my business clients and college students. Thank you!

The employees were kind, and I felt bad for them because they don’t seem to have much to work with. The rest of the stay was awful. There was fresh dog urine right inside our door when we arrived, the refrigerator was loud, and the bathroom sink only had hot water. People smoked by the entrance day and night, so opening the windows just brought smoke into the room. Breakfast amounted to coffee or hot water, with stale, hard granola bars or muffins available from the front desk. There was spitting in the elevators and walkways, and noise went on for hours overnight: an upstairs neighbor running around from about 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., children screaming, banging, people yelling, rummaging through trash bins, and slamming things. I have children myself and understand some noise, but this went on and on. Everything seemed to happen after 11. It was the worst place we’ve ever stayed, and I’d give it no stars.

The full kitchen was a big plus, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. It was peaceful, with no drama, and the staff were the friendliest I’ve ever had at a hotel. It felt like home.

A clean, immaculate place for a longer stay while you’re waiting for housing. The staff are friendly, and they put out coffee and a light breakfast each morning. Extendedstay is a terrific place to stay.
