Hotel Zazz

Hotel Zazz was a fun place to stay, with funky, playful rooms and an ideal spot for walking to good bars and restaurants. We enjoyed a late-night drink in the Speakeasy too. Parking in the small lot is difficult, but I'd still stay again and recommend it.

This was exactly the quirky kind of hotel I like when I travel. The bed was super comfortable, the roozy products were sweet, and the eclectic drinks were the bomb. My visit to Monet's spa was another highlight. You can really see the female ownership in the way the place gives women what they want, no offense to men. If I didn't live eight hours away, I'd make this a regular getaway.

The advertised heated pool and outdoor movies weren't available. The place could use an update and some fresh paint, and it should explain the costs more clearly. They describe it as a motor lodge, yet charged a nightly parking fee. When I said I hadn't been told about the extra charge, they suggested I park on the street, but there were no spaces available. The room hadn't been cleaned properly, the bathroom was filthy, and the trash bin was already full when I arrived. Disappointing.

The service made our stay memorable, and I can't wait to return to Hotel Zazz. Armando from housekeeping and room service kept the room spotless and made sure we had what we needed. Consola at the front desk was welcoming, kind, and so helpful throughout the visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well as very well priced, so it felt like great value. I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
