Quality Inn & Suites Sunport Airport Albuquerque

The staff were kind and even kept my forgotten AirPods for me. I was told they hold lost items for a month. There's also a free airport shuttle, and the location is about six minutes from the airport, with a gas station next door that worked well for refueling the rental car. Traffic passing by can be noisy, and there's a 24-hour Waffle House across the street, though I didn't get to try it. We only used the hotel to shower and sleep on two separate nights, so I can't say much about the pool or other facilities. The beds were comfortable and the sheets felt soft. The room was clean, though not spotless, with some random marks on the walls, doors, and ceiling. Towels were soft and very white. Breakfast is free, with yogurt, juice, coffee, waffles, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal, and an apple.

Friendly, polite staff made the stay easy, and the room was comfortable and very clean. It's near the highway, airport, restaurants, and shops. The price was good, lower than most nearby options, and the quality still held up. I'd recommend it.

The best part for us was the bed. We chose a king, and it was so comfortable, better than one I'd had at a more upscale hotel before. The rooms were clean, though the furnishings are older and about what you'd expect for the price. Ankush at the front desk was lovely. At check-in he was in the middle of cleaning but stopped to help me right away. When we checked out, he was just as friendly, asked sincerely how the stay had gone, and wished us safe travels.

The room lost power about 30 minutes after I arrived, and staff couldn't say when it would come back. My fiancé and I left and found another room elsewhere. Before that, he'd checked in for me because I was working late and I didn't want him waiting outside in the cold. He called as soon as he got in to say the non-smoking room smelled like weed and the sheets hadn't been changed. I found both things to be true when I arrived. Now I'm trying to get a refund from the front office. The desk person says I didn't stay there, my fiancé did, even though the card on file is mine.
