Towneplace Suites Abq Airport

Unexpected things came up and we had to cancel our reservation. The staff were kind, understanding, and professional, and made the process simple and stress-free. We really appreciated how accommodating they were. Based on how they treated us, I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and customer service was excellent. The room was comfortable and I slept well. The shower got very hot and had great water pressure, and the small gym was enough for a quick workout. They also had a filtered water system for refilling bottles, a nice complimentary breakfast with plenty of drinks and continental options, and free parking. It worked well for a short overnight stay. The hotel was clean but dated, and the photos on the Marriott website felt misleading. It could use fresh paint and updates to the lights, carpet, and bathroom fixtures. The sink made a continuous draining kind of noise. We arrived late and left early, so I didn’t mention it.

The room was spacious and clean, and the mattresses were a bit old but still okay. The airport shuttle is unreliable. I needed it twice, and both times they reimbursed the Uber fare, but apparently their driver just doesn’t come to work. They don’t cover the tip, only the fare, so I was still out a couple of bucks because the promised amenity wasn’t provided. It’s fine as an airport hotel, but expect to need an Uber unless you have a rental car.

The free breakfast had plenty to choose from, and getting around the city from here was easy. The area has lots of airport hotels and chain restaurants, but I felt safe and didn’t notice any homeless people or people using drugs. My two-bedroom unit was roomy and nicely updated, and the hotel stayed quiet during my four-night visit. I really enjoyed it and would come back.
