The staff were courteous and helpful, and I found the bed comfortable. The floors seemed mostly clean, and I liked that there was no carpet. The location worked well for me. Breakfast was basic: for my health, I avoid sugar and carbs, so I had hard-boiled eggs, milk, black coffee, and water. Otherwise, it was mostly high-sugar options. My room, 301, felt dirty and unwelcoming. The bedspread was dirty, there was black hair in the bathroom, and the curtains were badly stained. The heat/AC unit had a lot of dust inside, and there was roach bait in every corner. The water only got lukewarm, so I skipped a shower on a cold night. Other guests were noisy late at night and very early in the morning. The bathroom outlet had black soot on it, which looked like it could point to an electrical problem and possibly a fire risk. I was alone, busy, and in town for a funeral, so I didn’t have time to complain, request repairs, or move rooms. I hope these problems get addressed before someone else is put in that room.
