Fairfield Inn & Suites Temecula by Marriott

Parking was easy, and the location works well for getting around Temecula. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed, but the hotel looks dated and needs renovation. The décor and fixtures feel tired, and noise carries between rooms and into the hallways. Breakfast was basic, the usual Fairfield Inn fare. My first room hadn’t been made up at all. Staff fixed that quickly and stayed polite, though it didn’t inspire confidence at this price. The stay was average and acceptable if you just need somewhere functional to sleep, but this Fairfield Inn feels overdue for an update compared with newer ones.

Hope F. at the front desk is the best part of this place. She’s absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is a decent three-star stay: clean and mostly comfortable, but nothing special. The coffee and pillows could both be better.

We were on the top floor, and it was mostly quiet through the night, though at some point my fiancé thought it sounded like someone was flushing a toilet all night. The staff were friendly. The room was mostly clean, but there was hair on the bathroom floor, spots on the comforter and one pillowcase, and cutout sections of bathroom wallpaper that had been patched.

Free parking and breakfast were nice to have, and overall I had a nice stay. The rooms are dated and could use the renovations many Fairfields seem to need these days. The location is convenient, just a few minutes from Costco and other restaurants, as long as highway traffic noise doesn’t bother you.
