Expedia ended up moving us to another hotel because of the room's condition. We'd come in hoping for a clean place to rest during a work trip, but found live roaches, visibly dirty towels, and a Fitbit charger on the bedside table. The non-smoking room smelled unpleasant, too, so we had little confidence that another room would be any cleaner, despite the hotel's offer to move us. When we raised the sanitation issues, management pointed to its “no refund” policy and was dismissive. We also got no follow-up after that. There's no need to apologize in response, just improve the standards. If cleanliness can't be assured, offer a refund. If a guest is only moved to another room, the manager should give their name so there's accountability for the poor service.

I was surprised that they made the bed every day. I've stayed in rooms that cost five times as much without getting that service. I was there for four nights for a conference, and it worked fine as a cheap place to sleep, shower, and keep my things. It isn't fancy, and I had a couple of small issues: no iron or coffee maker was available when I asked, so I bought an inexpensive iron and made coffee in the microwave. If you just need somewhere to crash without resort amenities, this does the job.

The front office guy was rude and put me and my son out in the cold. I won't be back. The sheets and covers were dirty, the room itself was dirty, and there were little roach-like bugs around. Someone had written “sex offenders” on the shower and the back of the bathroom door. The whole visit was bad. Don't waste your money.

The shower curtain was covered in mold, and the front desk service was awful. I booked for a week and planned to stay about a month, but on day five the desk guy wouldn't let me into my room until I paid a pet fee. My parents had told the hotel I was bringing a pet when they made the booking, so making an issue of it then was frustrating. I work from 6 to 6, when housekeeping is gone, and went to the desk for clean towels. He acted disgusted and said I had to get them while housekeeping was there, even though he was just surfing the web.
