Breakfast had a decent range of things, including a waffle maker, and the value for two nights was great. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, well kept room and its good size. Check-in was friendly and I got my key quickly. The bed was super comfortable. The walls are definitely thin, but I wasn’t disturbed in the evening. I would have liked a small fridge, though it wasn’t a big issue.

For an overnight stop, it was a good place. The property is a little old, but not terrible, and the grounds seemed safe enough and well maintained. Beds and pillows were exceptional, and the shower was adequate. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, just oatmeal, waffles, bread, and cereal.

They charge the same amount as your room payment again as a deposit, and it can take weeks to get that money back, if it comes back at all. The rooms are old and a little worn, and a room next to mine had its window smashed out. There were lots of sketchy people wandering around. If you’re going to be charged double at check-in, you may as well pay double somewhere nicer.

The room looked adequate at check-in, but after we got back from an event I found roaches. That’s unacceptable at any price. The room felt dingy, and the lack of cleanliness was hard to overlook. When I reported the problem, customer service was unhelpful and lackluster. This place was a major letdown, and I wouldn’t recommend spending your time or money here.

I’ve stayed here a lot and never found a critter in any of the rooms I used. They’ve all had a microwave and refrigerator, the guest laundry is clean and the machines work, and parking is free. Staff are generally accommodating. There’s plenty within a 10 minute walk: two 7-11's, a Papa John's, Dominoes, McDonald's, Walmart, and the yellow line. The pancake machine at breakfast is something else. Need I go on?
