Studio 6 Alexandria, LA

The room is nice and the rate is decent, so what more could you ask for? It isn’t the Marriott, but it doesn’t cost a Marriott rate either. Take it for what it is.

There was a strong weed smell, and the smoke alarm kept chirping. Maintenance came in and just ripped it off the ceiling, which was funny. Still, the price was right, and the woman at reception was super friendly.

I travel to Alexandria for work and often stay at the Motel 6-Studio 6 on McArthur Drive. It feels like a home away from home on an affordable budget, and you really can’t beat the price. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and always clean and sanitized. I appreciate the well-lit parking and security cameras, which make it easier to see your vehicle and help you feel safe. Managers and staff are approachable, people-oriented, friendly to children, and available to help with concerns. I enjoy the casual chats over hot coffee. It’s close to everything, including convenience stores, shopping, restaurants, hospitals, and dental offices. On long, tiring days when I don’t feel like dining out, I can order from the menu in the room or just relax there without being bothered.

Whenever I come to the hotel while I’m on the road and need a place to rest, the staff take care of me. They’re friendly and helpful, too.
