The owners seemed nice, and the location was the one thing this place had going for it. Walking into the room, though, we were hit with an overwhelming mildew smell. It was way too expensive for how outdated it was. I don't mind an older place if it's clean and doesn't smell, but even the towels felt damp and mildewy.

We got a room for six, but all the beds were crowded together in one small room, arranged in a square with only a little space to walk between them. It felt uncomfortable being so close to everyone. The room was dirty and looked only partly renovated, maybe seven years ago, with a huge, ancient AC unit stuck in a hole in the wall. At bedtime, we found out the pullout couch was just a regular couch. After we finally found someone at the desk, she said we could get a rollaway bed from storage. My husband had to help retrieve and set it up. Its legs were bent, and the springs were so worn that when my eight-year-old lay on it, he was about half an inch from the floor. That was meant to be equivalent to a sofa bed for two? No. My husband left his Milwaukee brand headlamp there. I called and was told they'd look around, but we never got it back, lol. The owner seemed pretty shifty. I'll never return to this run-down hole.

The pier was right there, which worked well since we were staying at Harbor Inn to go salmon fishing. It's pet friendly, too.

We were a little unsure about the new owners, but everything went great. The rooms and property were super clean, communication was good, and the price was fair. There are lots of dining options within walking distance. We've been bringing our group to Harbor Inn for a few years and look forward to staying again next year and for years to come.

We were just passing through and wished we had more time, especially since there's a nice beach nearby. The place is near a lake, and our room was very clean, with a comfy bed and a refrigerator. The front desk staff were awesome. We arrived late, but our keys were waiting, and they left clear directions to the room so we could get settled quickly.
