Malcolm was the highlight of our mini staycation. He got us checked in early so my daughter and I could start exploring right away, and he offered her a cold bottle of water. She was so happy. Those little details matter, and she liked it here more than the Avalon because of the service. We usually stay at the Avalon but decided to try somewhere else since this was last minute. The place is close to everything, with plenty of parking by the entrance. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Malcolm!

I called over three days trying to find my belongings. On day two they said the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, so everything should still be inside. On day three, they said nothing had been found, and I left my number for the third time. It’s the next day and still no call back. I won’t return after how this was handled. It’s sad, because this wasn’t my husband’s and my first visit. Our previous stays had always been pleasant, which is why we came back. The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet pretty good, and customer service was generally good, aside from this experience.

The full breakfast was good, checkout was easy, and for the price the stay was fine. The room itself was okay, though the sofa had a few stains. The bed seemed clean and was comfortable. My first impression was just okay. The lobby was very warm, and our first floor room smelled like someone had smoked in it. I had to spray a lot of Lysol to help with the odor.

There was mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom, which is unacceptable and concerning for health reasons. They moved us to another room, where there was no visible mold, but it still smelled bad. The breakfast area wasn’t clean either, and the food presentation didn’t meet basic hygiene standards. We definitely don’t recommend this hotel, especially for families with children. Save yourself the trouble and don’t book here.
