The breakfast alone would bring us back. Sharon and Tom had low-carb, low-fat, and traditional choices, and the breads, jams, and jellies were so good. Ask them about the Alpine bacon. We were planning a long-awaited trip to Alpine Tx and Big Bend National Park, and after looking at several places, the Alpine Bed & Breakfast seemed right for us since we'd enjoyed B&Bs before. Their website had loads of useful information about the house and the area. Sharon and Tom welcomed us when we arrived, gave us a tour, and explained the coffee makers, heaters, hot tub, and fire pit. The house feels like stepping into the late 1800s, with the modern comforts you'd expect. Sharon's art and decor make the rooms feel comfortable. We had an amazing stay and will be back.

That comfortable common room gave us extra space to relax or spend time during the day, and the Eagle Peak bedroom was conveniently close to the dining area and morning coffee. We stayed three nights on our first West Texas visit to see Big Bend NP and McDonald Observatory. The hosts communicated well before we arrived and greeted us warmly. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were top notch. We were told about possible train noise, though I only woke up once and heard it. Breakfast was gourmet, whether we ate in or took it to go, and we were always satisfied. We also enjoyed the conversations. Two big thumbs up from us.

We stayed in the Chisos room for our anniversary weekend near Big Bend, and the bed was really comfortable. It was cold out, so the electric fireplace and plush robes came in handy, and the towels were soft too. The breakfast was delicious, and they'll put together a to-go meal if you're heading to the park before breakfast is served. Sharon and Tom made us feel at home from the start. We were able to check in early because the room hadn't been occupied the night before. Tom showed us around the property and explained where everything was and how it worked. The house is beautiful, with lots of ornamental details, and I loved the dishes, they added an elegant touch. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in town.

The private hot tub in our beautiful, cozy room was a real treat. This was our first stay at a Bed & Breakfast, and Sharon and Tom made it memorable by going out of their way for us. Their breakfast each morning was fantastic. We can't wait to stay with them again.

For our first anniversary we took a getaway to Big Bend and stayed at Alpine Bed and Breakfast. Sharon and Tom made it a special weekend, and the comfortable accommodations were great. My favorite part, though, was the breakfast. I'd vote for them as the best chefs in Big Bend. Thanks to Sharon and Tom for being such great proprietors.
