Quality Inn & Suites Altamonte Springs Orlando-North

We came in around 10 PM after a long trip and found a room that was filthy. The microwave was caked with old food and grime, the walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years, and there were grease marks on the blankets and awful stains on the pillows. I've never seen a hotel microwave that unsanitary. This stay also badly damaged my trust in the Quality Inn brand. The bed had a deep hollow across the left side, like part of the mattress was gone. My partner woke up hurting, and the next night we had to lie diagonally with our feet hanging off just to avoid the dip. Staff seemed annoyed whenever we raised valid problems. When I asked the desk for clean blankets, the employee barely responded and handed me a sheet. Management was on in the morning, so I asked again, but even the replacement blankets were stained. Breakfast was another disappointment, with hardly any food and a waffle maker covered in debris that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Everything felt neglected and poorly run. There was no quality to be found. If cleanliness, comfort, or basic respect matter to you, don't stay here. I have photos, but they won't load, and I'll keep trying.

I checked out last Friday, but the hotel still hasn't returned my security deposit. They actually charged my card rather than placing a standard hold. When I politely asked how long the refund would take, staff were very unprofessional and told me to "go ahead and process legally" if I wanted my money back. They seem to have no intention of following their refund policy. I've taken the issue to Choice Hotels Corporate and disputed the charge with my bank. Save yourself the hassle and stay elsewhere. There's no accountability here.

The room needed more attention to cleanliness. The shampoo dispenser in the bathroom was empty, and there were visible handprints on the wooden headboard, apparently left by earlier guests. That gave the room a really unpleasant feel. Better cleaning and attention to small details would make a difference.

We drove 18 hours to get here and were disgusted as soon as we got to the room. We'd asked for non-smoking, but it smelled of smoke. The towel had HUMAN feces on it, the bed blanket was covered in stains, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, and the floors were filthy. We checked out within an hour. At the desk, they said they'd still charge us for one night even though we hadn't stayed overnight. I've called several times and no one answers. Staff, room, cleanliness, all 0/10. If you want somewhere safe and clean, don't come here. This feels like a scam, and I'll be calling my bank to dispute the charge.
