They even welcomed our two big dogs, and the hospitality throughout our stay was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic, with vegan choices made available for me. I had one of the best vegan breakfasts ever. He went above and beyond to make our visit special, and we’re very grateful. I’d definitely stay again and can’t wait to go back.

We needed somewhere quickly after our previous cabin was rented out from under us, and this owner was kind and ready to help. He went out of his way to make sure my husband and I could enjoy a nice getaway. The room is rustic and so cozy. We absolutely loved the place, the owner, and the whole experience. We’d come back again and again!

Just a short drive from Farley’s on SR-48 (Mechem Dr), the lodge is much quieter than staying in town. It’s a beautiful old-west-style place with 6 guest bedrooms, fitting for its spot on the Billy the Kid Trail. The roadside building is closed for repairs and remodeling this year, but the lodge itself is ready to go. It’s a good choice if you want peace and great views. Every so often wild horses wander up and look in the window, which is pretty neat. Rates are competitive.

The owner was incredibly kind. He got up early to cook breakfast for my son and me before we left for ski apache, and it was delicious. He also supports the local community and the adaptive ski program my son was part of at ski apache. We’ll always stay here whenever we come to ski apache. We rented the jacuzzi suite at Lazy bear lodge, and it had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was perfect after a day on the mountain. The room looked a bit small in the pictures, but it’s actually a decent size. This is the best place we’ve stayed!

Lazy Bear is a quiet, rustic place, and seeing the wild horses was really neat. It’s centrally located for the area’s attractions, and Lenny and the staff are there whenever you need them. My family and I had a great time enjoying what the area had to offer. Thanks for a great stay.
