The hotel is a bit older, but it's nice for a quick night away, and I'd recommend it. Staff were super friendly and breakfast was great and free. The room was mostly clean; we found a few hairs on the bed, but had no other complaints.

We had what we needed in a very functional room: a working fridge and microwave, plus a desktop laser printer on the desk. It wasn't the biggest room I've had for the price, but it was clean and had the basics along with those extras. Both wired and wireless internet connected well. I'd stay again.

If I return to Altoona, I'll stay here again. It's handy for good restaurants and not too far from stores for everyday needs. The staff were friendly, the hospitality was on point, and breakfast was great. I really have nothing bad to say about my stay.

Nice staff and a nice HI Express property. I wish the fitness room had better equipment, like dumbbells, and that one of its two treadmills worked. I'm not sure why hotels don't take their fitness centers more seriously.

Clean place, good prices, and an excellent complimentary breakfast. I'd definitely come back.
