Hacienda Motel

I felt comfortable and safe here, and wouldn’t think twice about coming back. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the mini fridge was a good size with a freezer. It was well lit and had everything I needed for two nights before hiking.

No frills, just a clean room and a place to sleep. I had no complaints.

My trip started late, so I needed to stop for the night. The owner was at the office even though it was late on a Saturday, and the room was cleaner than I expected. It’s an older motel, but my room was comfortable and well looked after, with a recently remodeled bathroom. I’d stay again without hesitation.

I slept really well because the place was so quiet. I was in my room early and expected to hear cars, doors, and people arriving, but heard almost nothing. In the morning the lot was full, yet I hadn’t heard anyone pull in. The doors and rooms seem well insulated, which matters to me. I need a good night’s sleep. It’s an old-style motel that brings back memories of the 70s, when you could stay for $10. The room was clean, but there aren’t amenities. You can make coffee in the room, though there’s no half-and-half, and who knows when those Mr. Coffees were last cleaned? Coffee and a pastry would’ve made a big difference. I enjoyed staying here, apart from the coffee.
