A male staff member swore at me and threw my phone while I was paying for the room with tap pay. That was completely out of line and unprofessional. I had been honest and respectful, and was only using a legal CBD vape, yet they blamed me for a toilet that was already damaged and supposedly involved drugs. I had nothing to do with that. This was a really upsetting stay, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone who expects to be treated fairly or feel safe.

I was stranded here for three days after my truck broke down, and the people running the place were rude and hostile. The bed was like a concrete slab, the shower had no pressure, there was no tub plug, and the AC barely worked. We were charged $115 a night even though the listed rate was $55. We had two dogs, but the pet fee seemed far higher than at most places. They rent rooms by the hour and half hour, maybe because of the strip club next door. Bring a black light, or don't. It was a pretty miserable stay.

The exterior looks pretty run down, but inside the rooms are clean and up to date, and the beds were really comfortable. A good, inexpensive place for a night's sleep if you're traveling on a budget.

It's family owned and operated, and they do a good job. The rooms are clean, freshly painted, newly furnished, and quite nice, so don't let the price or outside appearance put you off. Just know there's a $20 cash deposit. I hardly ever carry cash and was caught off guard, though luckily I had a twenty in my wallet.
