Motel 6 Amarillo, TX

The rooms are older and show some wear, so I'd give the physical space three stars. Still, the comfort and friendly service made the stay worthwhile, and I'll definitely return. I arrived late and Jacob at the front desk was attentive and helpful, making sure I was comfortable. He didn't know all the details about the rewards program, but honestly pointed me to management for help. The next morning, Stacy, the manager, greeted me with a big smile and a warm welcome. She took time to answer my rewards questions, showing me her screen and explaining how the system works. That kind of genuine customer care is what keeps me coming back.

I stayed over the holidays and appreciated how kind and businesslike everyone was. The owner was often around and trying to renovate. Stacy, the manager, is wonderful, warm, and good at taking care of business. Stephanie and my other housekeepers fixed up my room the way I needed. Jacob at the front desk and the other guys were great, too. Kaitlyn is quiet and shy, but takes care of what you need. I didn't have problems with anyone. I saw staff handle a few difficult customers in a kind, professional way while keeping up with everything.

Stacey was helpful and cheerful both on the phone and in person. She seems like one of the few people who really enjoys the job. The rooms were spotless, including the tub, and the towels were actually clean, if that's something you care about. I may have found my new Motel6. Sorry, folks over on Bolton.

I drove cross country from Los Angeles to South Carolina, stopping at Motel 6 locations because they allow pets. Of all my stops, this Amarillo Motel 6 was easily the best yet. The staff were so sweet, and the rooms were amazing and clean. I highly recommend staying here!
