After driving more than 13 hours to get my dad’s ashes to California in time for his service, I needed a room at 1:30am. I accidentally booked the reservation for the next day. The front desk said they couldn’t change it, but that I could book as a walk-in and request a refund later. The next day, manager Misha refused the refund, saying it “wasn’t hotel policy.” I was left out over $200 for a room that was less than sub par. If you’ve had a long drive and need somewhere comfortable to rest, go elsewhere. They showed no compassion and went back on their word to get my money. Save yourself the headache. I’ve never met staff who felt more heartless.

The room was quiet, clean, and exactly right for my work trip. It’s easy to get to and convenient, and the price was solid value. Staff were friendly and helpful the whole way from check-in to check-out. I’d stay again.

The heated pool feels like a scam. It was closed, apparently so they wouldn’t have to heat it for guests. The night manager who greeted us had a terrible attitude. She wouldn’t even suggest somewhere good to eat, saying she never goes out because she’s always working. After our eight-hour drive, we went to two restaurants within walking distance to unwind.

We were traveling with family and small children. The corridors smelled like cigarettes, and breakfast was terrible. The coffee creamer was expired. There was hot water but no tea, and the only food was toast and cereal with milk.
