Four Seasons Island Resort

I’ve been trying to reserve a date for a small wedding for over four months now, and still can’t get a consistent reply. I’ve contacted Kayla, who no longer works there, and Marie several times about the same thing, but my emails often go unanswered. It feels very unprofessional.

Being close to all the waterfalls was a real plus, and we had cell service without any trouble. We enjoyed the food and drinks at the Boundry Waters Sports Bar, too. Abbie handled the food and drink service all by herself and did an amazing job. The place was clean, the front desk staff were great, and we had a wonderful stay. The pool and hottub were great as well. We’d definitely come back.

After spending the day exploring the nearby waterfalls, my family and I decided on the spur of the moment to stay at the Beautiful Four Seasons Resort. We live only an hour away, but we’re so glad we did. The property felt beautiful and peaceful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, kind, and accommodating. Adom was especially helpful, bringing extra bedding and finding things for the kids to play with in the pool. The young woman covering the restaurant and bar on the night of 8/6/25 handled phone and drink orders as well as the tables, all with humor and grace. Marletta was at the desk and continental breakfast the next morning, and was kind and helpful to everyone. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful historic hotel. We’ll be back!

For what we paid for one night, the room and service fell well short. The kitchenette fridge was filthy, with sticky food inside, and there was melted cheese in the oven door. It felt like nobody was taking care of things. This was my first stay at a Four Seasons, and I think it’ll be my last. The resort fee was hard to justify when so many extras were out of order. The internet was down, the ice cream shop was closed, and the arcade took our coins even though the games didn’t work. Breakfast was a disaster. There was one nice employee, but they had no help, and the coffee, which I consider the most important part, kept running out. There was nobody to ask to refill it. The dispenser stayed empty until I tracked someone down, and then it seemed to take forever for more coffee to appear. I’m writing this because my wife spoke to the front desk and was told a manager would call her, but nobody did. I don’t understand how this place is rated four stars.
