Whenever my family and I are in town, I’ve always enjoyed visiting this spot. It’s refreshing to find such a small mom and pop motel that’s friendly and accommodating. The manager, I think his name is Nick, is awesome, and the wife who wears those beautiful Peacock custom outfits is totally awesome too. The atmosphere is respectful and friendly. All the rooms are renovated, and if you’re looking for a clean room, good customer service, a secure atmosphere, and vigilant staff, this is the place. I’ve read some earlier reviews, but that wasn’t my experience. Google should really investigate what I see as internet cyberbullies and liars. Maliciously attacking a great business like the sands motel should be a hate and federal crime.

I lost a couple hundred dollars there after dropping it, and nobody said anything. The management, at least the people who clean, should be fired. I don’t want to say anything else.

I went with my family hoping to get some sleep, but I didn’t. The bathroom was disgusting, and the bed sheets felt dusty. The room smelled like weed and bad breath. There were folded blankets, and when we unfolded them, we found eyelashes. Even the mirror and dresser didn’t match.
