We had less than 24 hours here, and I can’t wait to come back and explore more by foot and bike, especially under the huge oak canopy in Fort Clinch State Park and Eagan’s Creek Greenway. The fitness circuit at Eagan’s Creek Park is inspired, and just a five-minute walk from the Inn. It beats any hotel gym. Our clean, updated suite had lovely decor and a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. It was $199 including taxes, with free hot and cold breakfast in a lovely dining area. The coffee and cappuccino machine was wonderful, and so was the ocean sunrise. After time on the pristine beach, we walked 43 minutes to the Historic district along Atlantic Avenue sidewalks, through beautiful neighborhoods and past three lovely local parks, Fort Clinch State Park, and Eagan’s Creek. We ate at The Salty Pelican, watching the sunset over the marina, and had a delicious, huge seasonal salad with blackened grouper for $20.99. The $15 parking fee is lower than at most beachfront hotels and very convenient. This was a perfect stay in the cleanest town we’ve had the pleasure of walking through.

I found this hotel while traveling and it’s so cute, with a great location. It’s pet friendly, serves an excellent free breakfast, and keeps fresh-baked cookies in the lobby all day. They’re so good! The staff are friendly and the rooms clean. I’ve stayed twice now and will definitely come back.

The staff were all really nice, and the place was clean. The renovated bathroom and shower were nice too. The room itself was very small, though. I had to limbo under the TV to get to one side of the bed, and for almost $200 I expected a normal-sized room. I might return, but it’s not very likely.

The location was great, and the front desk staff were very helpful. The room was clean apart from the stained, worn yellow chairs, and the carpet looked fairly new. The bathroom was tiny, and another mirror in the room would make it easier for multiple people to get ready. Although it was a two-room suite, the bedroom had no door. Water pressure on the third floor was weak, and parking was difficult.

The view was lovely, and it was easy to get down to the beach. The people were nice and breakfast was good, too. But the $15 parking charge makes it hard for me to give this more than three stars. Nobody mentioned it, and then a charge of $15 plus what I assume was tax appeared on my card. That feels like a lot just to park for a one-night stay.
