Hampton Inn Buffalo-Williamsville

The breakfast was better than the usual hotel spread, and trying the s’mores waffles was fun. The property is new and very clean, with a pool and hot tub. Our room had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, and a great shower. There was even a shuttle to the Bills game for a small fee. The staff welcomed us right away. Alex at the front desk was especially kind, professional, and informative, and it was always nice seeing him when we got back from going out. This will be my hotel whenever I’m in Buffalo. My only complaint was the adjoining room: our neighbors were noisy in the mornings, and I could hear their conversations and TV. I couldn’t hear much from the hallway. Luckily, our sleep schedules were similar. Thanks for a great stay.

We’re from the area and usually visit two or three times a year, but we wanted to try something besides the airport hotels. This one seems either new or renovated. The rooms were nice and very clean, with hard flooring and a sectional rug under the bed. The location is great for walking to nearby places, including The Original Pancake House, a WNY icon, if you want a more filling breakfast than the typical Hampton fare. The staff were very nice. Marilyn and the young gentleman working the night shift and the following morning were attentive, though I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. It was mostly quiet, but you could hear heavy doors slam across the way, and conversations and some questionable smells seemed to carry through the bathroom vents from next door. The shower head adjusts, but I wish the water pressure were stronger. We’ll definitely return to this location.

I stay here twice a month, and the staff are thoughtful and wonderful. They do their best to accommodate what I ask for and have been a huge help, since Buffalo feels like my home away from home so often.

The pool was a hit with my kids, and breakfast was standard hotel food, nothing fancy, but they liked it. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I loved the roomy, spotless bathroom. There was no mold or mildew on the caulk. Even the soap smelled great, and I liked that the shampoos and conditioners were natural. The rooms had clearly been renovated recently, with vinyl flooring instead of gross carpet. A three-hook rack for our backpacks was a thoughtful touch I hadn’t seen in a hotel room before. We usually stay at Marriotts, but there wasn’t one nearby, so we booked this based on the reviews. I’m glad we did. The location was perfect, the place was cute and quaint, and the attention to detail showed. Alex at the front desk was warm and welcoming, and we appreciated the bottled water. It was so clean here. If every Hampton Inn were like this one, we’d stay at them all the time.
