Having lots of stores within walking distance was a plus, and at least it's better than sleeping on the street. Still, hot water kept running out during the day, so I couldn't shower when I wanted. Someone flushed a diaper and clogged every toilet in the hotel. I saw two cockroaches in my room, and the maid's vacuum didn't work. A random drunk guy knocked on my door at midnight asking for $2 and cigarettes. The room key never worked.

After the first room had dead and live bugs in the bathroom and four crawling on the bed, I went straight to the desk. The employees were kind and gave me another room. I checked around before taking it, and it seemed fine at about 6:30 p.m. But after showering and going out for a bite, I came back to find about six bugs on the bathroom floor. Opening the bed, I saw black spots and three or four bed bugs. I packed and left. I was polite when asking for a refund, but they wouldn't give one. Please don't stay here. Days Inn down the road is much cleaner and, frankly, cheaper.

I've stayed here several times over the past six months. It's cheap, but no Ritz. The rooms are a little worn and in disrepair, though I've had no bugs or other major problems. They're slowly improving the place. Rooms have a microwave and fridge, which Sleep Inn doesn't. Breakfast is minimal, but there are plenty of other options close by. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms. It's run by a Hindu family, and you can smell curry at the checkout desk. They're nice people and seem to be trying hard to make the business work. I applaud them.

For $150, this was a dump. Everything was broken: the door card didn't work, the door barely shut, the TV remote was dead, the AC and shower head didn't work, and the bathroom sink faucet wasn't attached and could be lifted right off. The sheets were filthy, the carpet sticky, and the towels badly used. Broken trim around the doors didn't seem safe for kids. The staff were extremely rude. Go across the street to Sleep Inn for a beautiful room, only $20 more. Avoid this place unless you want to take bed creatures home!
