Rodeway Inn & Suites

We were all happy with our stay and thought the place was nice and quiet. My husband’s family had a very nice non-smoking room. My family chose a smoking room, which was okay, though they ran into a couple of issues: the lights in the room were burned out, and housekeeping took the towels before doing anything else.

The breakfast was good, though the choices were limited and leaned heavily toward starch. I did wonder why there was no fruit or yogurt. Still, this was a good stay for the price, and we’d definitely come back. The inn is close to the falls and everything else we wanted to reach. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the heating and cooling worked great. We knew our room had a mini fridge and microwave, but were pleasantly surprised to find a newly remodeled kitchen area with cabinets and a sink. There’s also good TV service with on-demand options.

The hot tub was fun, though breakfast could use some improvement. The rooms are dated, and I had to do a little dusting and cleanup myself. It’s a pretty standard motel, though, and you get what you pay for.

I stayed five nights in a double room and was glad I chose this motel. It was quiet at night, the bed felt like a new mattress, there was plenty of hot water, and the staff were friendly. The place was clean enough to earn an extra star from me. The small annoyances didn’t outweigh having a clean room and nice people around. The toilet kept running unless we jiggled the handle, we had to ask for toilet paper, the little hand and bath soap ran out, the water pressure was low, and the walls were thin. It was inexpensive, clean, and conveniently located, with a good restaurant across the parking lot, similar to a Denny’s. I’d rate it three stars if not for the cleanliness and friendly staff.
