Swinomish Casino & Lodge

First dinner at 13 moons was a great experience. The grilled shrimp appetizer was delicious, and my wife loved the Halibut the staff recommended for her. I ordered the tornadoes, two 4 oz filet mignons, one with blue cheese and one with mushrooms. Both were so tender I hardly needed the steak knife. We’ll be back for my birthday.

We had a great RV spot behind the resort, with a lovely view over the water. It was quiet, well maintained, and all the trailer services were available and working well. The online check-in and checkout were easy, with the welcome email covering everything we needed. Front counter staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe had a nice selection of diner-style food, and breakfast was excellent, just like our waitress. The casino floor was clean and inviting. I’d highly recommend the resort, though I did lose a couple hundred bucks at the slots. LOL

We play here often, but service at signature rewards seems to be slipping. Today we were waiting in line and one staff member didn’t seem inclined to get up and check who was next. She waited for someone to approach, even though people were lining up for service. We support the establishment and are only asking for decent customer service. Maybe she was having a bad day, or perhaps she just didn’t want to be there. The cashiers at Carver Cafe seem much better with customers, so maybe they could be moved over. Thank you.

Carver's Cafe is on site across the casino floor, and breakfast there was plentiful, good, and not overpriced, with a full menu available all day apart from roast beef. The staff there were very friendly. The artwork around the place was lovely, including the large sitting area near check-in. Most, if not all, of it was made by Swinomish Tribal members. Our room was large, with a luxurious-feeling bathroom and a great shower, though no tub. It faced the water, and I also enjoyed watching dogs in the little off-leash park for the RV lot below. Staff throughout were friendly and helpful. We stayed after a trip to the San Juan Islands because it was too late to drive all the way home from Anacortes. The location works well before or after an island ferry trip, and since it’s attached to a casino, arriving late or leaving early for the ferry schedule doesn’t feel strange. There are plenty of staff on site.
