For the price, you get what you pay for. The front desk people are kind, and the rooms aren't bad. If you expect lots of amenities and a $200-a-night room, this probably isn't your place. But if you want to save money and just need somewhere to sleep while you're in the area, I recommend it. Some of the cheaper hotels on Beach try to keep your deposit, but this place doesn't play games with your money. The deposit is just $40 cash now, not $100 like some people have said. The TV and remote both worked, and I hooked up my Fire Stick without trouble. At other hotels, either that doesn't work or the TV or remote is broken. I'm terrified of cockroaches, and I usually see one or two here, but it's not infested. Thanks for the hospitality. I try to book here whenever I'm in the area.

The family running this place is great, and the staff always treat me well. It's quiet, the rooms are consistently clean and smell nice, and the location works perfectly. The AC gets cold and the beds are comfortable. I recommend it for a stay longer than a week.

Cockroaches everywhere, odd stuff stuck to the filthy floor, and two dirty towels that didn't even match. The view was a broken toilet and old mattresses. The shower was held up with a piece of fabric. I was trying to keep my skin from touching anything. Just awful, I should've read the other reviews. Definitely don't stay here.
