Hotel Indigo Anaheim by IHG

We arrived in the morning and could leave our bags, then stored them again at checkout on our last day because our flight wasn’t until later that evening. The front desk was great and friendly. We didn’t have a car, so I can’t speak to parking, though a sign said cars must be removed by 11 am. The room was clean, fairly modern, and a good deal for the price. The bistro was good too. On both mornings we ordered two breakfast sandwiches, freshly made. We’ll definitely stay again when we return.

We’ve stayed here several times over the years, and it’s remained a reliable choice. Even during a sold-out weekend, check-in, parking, and getting rooms ready all went smoothly. The place has a calm, boutique feel despite being so close to Disney, which we really like. Our suite was comfortable and restful, and my partner slept especially well. Breakfast at Chambers exceeded what we expected for this kind of hotel. Karin was warm and attentive, and the front desk team kept things coordinated while making the stay feel relaxed and personal, even under pressure. There’s a nice semi-private place to sit quietly on the second-floor lounge overlooking Katella Ave and the lobby. We’ll be glad to return.

We chose this hotel from the many options near Disneyland, and I’m glad we did. The walk felt a little farther than I’d have liked, though plenty of other hotels are even farther away. I couldn’t tell from the online listing exactly how far it was, but it’s not far, just more walking than I’m used to. Our room was roomy and seemed quite clean. They don’t offer breakfast, but having enough space was what mattered most to us, along with cleanliness. I’d actually take free parking over free breakfast, and the gated lot was a big perk. Getting down to the parking area was a bit tricky in our large vehicle, but we managed. The outdoor pool was freezing, though the hot tub felt amazing during the short time we used it at night. The property could use some updating, but the front desk staff seemed very nice. The part that made the trip feel special was what they did for my daughter’s birthday. I mentioned we were visiting Disneyland for it, and they decorated the room with balloons and put a sign on the door. She was excited, and I really appreciated that they took the time to do it.

The hotel has a thoughtful theme honoring Anaheim’s original ranch and framing community. You can see it in the shower tile and in photos and notes throughout the property. My family could walk to Disneyland in about 15 minutes, which was a big plus. We only ate breakfast items at the Bistro, but everyone liked what they ordered on several occasions. Staff at the front desk, Bistro, and housekeeping in the halls were all friendly and helpful.
