La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Anaheim

On the third day, we got back from Disney around 11:30 pm after being out all day and found the bathroom flooded, with a bucket on the floor. The front desk said we could move rooms, but they already knew about the leak from earlier that day and hadn’t told us. Not a good end to the trip when all we wanted was to go to bed. The location was great, and the food was functional. I’d recommend it if you just need a place to sleep within walking distance of the park.

There are bed bugs here!!!!! Our kids have bites that a doctor confirmed were from bed bugs. When we told the staff, they gave us plastic for a bed. The GM said they weren’t bed bug bites and claimed to have checked the room. After we got the doctor’s confirmation, he still tried to say they didn’t look like bites. I asked for a formal incident report. The GM doesn’t care and literally told me I was wrong. You’d think they’d take this seriously when families stay here. Avoid this place!!!!!

The breakfast was literally the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel, so I’m amazed they call it a hot breakfast. The room was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cared for in years, and I saw black mold in the bathroom. The elevator floor kept being dirty with some kind of liquid on it. We disliked it so much that we paid for another hotel for our last night, even though we’d already paid for this one. I also didn’t get reimbursed for a night of parking.

For what they charge, I expected a clean, maintained room, and it was a big disappointment. There was old dust and who knows what else. The faucets were old and barely worked, and the toilet seat was loose. The commodes are about 14 inches high, really low even for my 5'3" spouse. The toilet paper was so thin and cheap, and at that price it shouldn’t be a problem. No vending either, and the desk charges around $4-5 for a Coke. It’s at Disney, so the location is five stars, but there are no value deals here. It wasn’t good value, clean, or nice. I wouldn’t stay there again.
