Little Boy Blue Motel

It’s our fourth stay, and we love how convenient the walk to Disney is. The rooms are standard, cozy hotel rooms. Staff are attentive and very nice, and parking is free.

My friends and I walked into the room, saw how gross it was, and left immediately. We didn’t make it dirty, but Little Boy Blue claimed we did and charged us $100 for nothing. We then had to spend more money at another hotel. Don’t waste your time or money here, whether you’re with children or on your own. Sorry, NOT SORRY. The room had stains on the mattress and sheets, and the blankets were thin. The walls, flooring, and TV were filthy, with dust everywhere. Furniture was broken and missing pieces. There was someone else’s hair in the sink, toilet, and shower, and the tub and shower had mold and weren’t clean. The key was a Universal Studios key, and we had to jimmy it to get in. Even the front desk area looked unsanitary, like someone was living there. Homeless people were outside in the parking lot playing loud music and screaming.

We stayed all three nights with people blasting music in the parking lot. The place was very loud and full of weird people. The water pressure was low, the phone had no buttons, and the shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap smelled odd. The bedding was very thin, the TV sounded like a robot on every channel, there was no coffee, and ice cost extra. There was mold in the bathroom and dust everywhere. The door had gaps all around it, especially underneath, where you could fit your hand. I don’t recommend it unless you’re truly stuck with a last-minute option, and at that price? Heck no.

The place had a grimy feel and that old motel smell, but everything was clean and presentable. The location is perfect for activities in the area. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with children.
