Welcome Inn & Suites

Really nice for what it costs. The staff and other people there were friendly and respectful. I'll definitely come back.

I got back into the room and returned the key promptly, but they still kept $10 from my deposit. I can understand charging me if I'd actually lost it, but I hadn't. I'd stepped out for a cigarette and forgotten the key inside, so I went to the front desk as you normally would. She wanted ten dollars to come out and program another key, which took her about two seconds. I kept telling her I'd bring the original back, but she wouldn't listen. Completely out of line, and my grammar's about as bad as their policy.

I left my favorite blanket behind this morning and called to ask about it. The guy hung up on me. I'll call back tomorrow and update this so other travelers know what to expect. I hope they haven't thrown it away.

The staff were very nice, even though I had to go back to the office several times to ask for things. The motel is basic, which is what the reasonable price gets you: no room phone, bedside lamps, or clock radio. There wasn't any daily cleaning, and they hadn't told me that ahead of time. The bathroom had a tub but only a shower, and there was no counter space by the sink to get ready. I was given just a bedspread for covers, with two pillows on the king bed.
