There are restaurants all around, and Walmart is just across the street. Buses from the Walmart parking lot go all over, including to the beach. The place feels secure, and the people here are friendly and help with all kinds of situations. The hotel itself is nice overall.

The rooms are clean and nice for the price. Walmart is right across the street, so it's easy to pick up anything you need for cooking in the kitchen. I'd recommend it.

They booked us the wrong room type. I was traveling with a male friend, and we were meant to have two beds, but they reserved one. Then they wanted another $70 for a different room because of their mistake. We were lucky to find somewhere else, red roof, for the same extra $70. It had much bigger, cleaner rooms and none of the reviews about cockroaches and bad service. I'm grateful this hotel's mistake led to a much better vacation, but it still deserves a really lousy star rating.

For a short stay, it seemed like a good value. But on our last day, just before leaving, we found roaches crawling around. The floor was dirty too, and my son's feet were filthy after walking on it.
