The studio was cramped, with a Murphy bed barely bigger than a twin and no space left for both the furniture and even a carry-on. The A/C wasn't cooling, and it was 84 in the room. Worse, the kitchen sink smelled like a sewer backup and was a mess. They wouldn't move us, and we lost two hours of privacy while staff tried, unsuccessfully, to get rid of the smell. We missed dinner because of it. You can see the Disney fireworks from the roof, though it's crowded, so get there early. I asked for two keys while being handed off to an extremely pushy sales rep. He didn't listen and gave me only one. I hate checking in.

The staff were great and the grounds look lovely. From our ninth-floor room we could make out the fireworks, though they were blurry, and we could also see the Matterhorn. The Toy Story lot is a five-mile walk, or there's a free shuttle every 5-10 minutes. Cheesecake Factory is next door, with lots of other dining nearby. There are two outdoor pools and two hot tubs on the ground level, plus two rooftop hot tubs with fireworks views at 9:30 every night. Cheers!

They kept pushing timeshare offers even after we'd made our decision, bringing the price down from $67,000 to $22,000 and expecting us to decide that day, as if we were buying a tomato. The “quality assurance” person heard our concerns, then made another offer, and a survey person did the same. They don't care about you or your decision, just selling a timeshare. Shame on Wyndham and its sales scheme people. I'll never consider staying at Wyndham again. Worst experience. We'd been invited to a two-hour presentation for a free gift, but it actually lasted four hours. They ran a hard inquiry on our credit report, and the sales person opened a credit card without our consent. Don't go if you get that invitation.

It was our first stay, and we spent a week in a two-bedroom room. Everything was clean and worked properly. The pillows weren't very comfortable for me, but the heated pools were lovely to swim in. The roof has a great view over the city and Disneyland, with two hot tubs up there too. On weekend nights it's a perfect place to watch the fireworks. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Disneyland is just one block away, and I'd walk there instead of taking the Toy Story shuttle.
