Room #7 was huge, with double sinks and so much space that it felt luxurious for two New Yorkers. The place was clean and nicely decorated, and we loved breakfast each morning. The check-in could be smoother, though. We arrived early to an empty house and, after about 10 minutes, met the housekeeper. It felt awkward peeping around someone's home to get inside. A front door key code sent by email or text on check-in day seems like a simple fix, and would let the door stay locked more often for security. We'd seen other B & Bs handle arrival in different ways and weren't sure what to expect. After that, we really enjoyed everything.

One evening we sat on the lovely deck among the flowers and herbs, drinking wine and taking in the scenery. Krista made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. She also gave us a quick list of things to see and do in Anchorage. The beds were comfortable, and the home cooked breakfast and other homemade treats were amazing. I strongly recommend this B & B.

Breakfast was much better than I expected, with plenty made in house and to order. The rooms were spacious, the bed comfortable, and the place quiet in a nice neighborhood. Krista and her staff were friendly and accommodating. I've traveled extensively, and this is among the best accommodations I've had. Highly recommended.

Krista and Zach made us feel at home, going above and beyond. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the beds extremely comfortable. Even with lots of guests, the layout gave us plenty of privacy and made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. Meals were delicious and made from scratch, and there were yummy homemade snacks too. This may be the best lodging I've experienced. I love this place and will definitely stay again next time I'm in Anchorage.

The breakfast was easily the best meal of our Alaska trip, and they made accommodations for our gluten and dairy free diet. The scones were the absolute best! Krista and Zack were excellent hosts, and we were excited to get an upgraded room that was just right for our family of 4, with children ages 11 and 4. The B&B was kid friendly and had lots of outdoor space to explore. We stayed at the House of Jade for one night and would come back whenever we're in Alaska.
