The shared setup suited us, and we felt safe the whole time, just the three of us girls. It wasn’t the quietest place, but we had no trouble sleeping. The kitchen and bathrooms were always clean. Our room wasn’t fancy, just clean and what we needed, and the desk staff were relaxed, friendly, and helpful. It’s a great location for walking around the city. I’m giving it five stars because it was what we signed up for, plus a little more.

The guy at the front was very nice, and the place is close to the airport. It was very affordable, but we didn’t feel comfortable or safe there. The rooms were dirty, the place seemed kind of sketchy, and we could hear the neighbors loud and clear. The online pictures looked cute and the Expedia reviews seemed decent, but it wasn’t what we expected when we arrived. Next time I’ll pay more for somewhere I feel comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The property was clean, though not quiet. It worked out as a last-minute reservation when everything else was booked. Communal bathrooms are normal in hostels, but not what I expect for a $90/night room. At $30 or less, I’d have been very happy.

The people at the front were nice, the outside of the building looked cute, and it was a good deal with everything nearby being pretty expensive. But I was embarrassed bringing my wife here. The area felt sketchy, there was trash under the bed and crumbs everywhere, and the bedding looked old, like it had been in regular use since the 70s. We could easily hear neighbors yelling for a while. Someone blasted music in a car and smoked pot right outside our window. The place needs renovation, better cleaning, and new bedding, probably new beds too. I’d give it 2.5 stars if I could, but it doesn’t feel like a solid three. If you can, spend a bit more to feel safe and comfortable.

For stays of a week or more, the rates are very reasonable, and room service is available if you ask. The shared bathrooms and common areas are kept clean. I haven’t had much trouble with nighttime noise. It’s about what you’d expect, and a good option for budget travelers.
