Super 8 Anderson/Clemson Area

The room was quiet and unassuming from the outside, and I had a good night’s rest. It’s in a good location and the owners are working to make it better for guests. I spoke with the owner’s son, who said the business is moving from the Super 8 franchise to the private market. The ownership shares the idea of building a place they’d want to stay in themselves. As a combat veteran, security matters more to me than appearance. I found the hotel surprisingly clean and charming, and it seems to be moving in a modern direction, even with some growing pains. The owners personally handled security, with cameras covering every blind spot. The three-story hotel currently has no elevator, though they’re actively planning to add one. Don’t let that stop you from getting a good night’s rest. The rooms are large and mostly modernized. I had a double queen room and tried both beds, which were comfortable. The decor was nice, and the bathroom was remodeled and clean. The ironing board cover, refrigerator, and microwave all worked, but they’re dated. I was told those items would be replaced and updated within the next calendar year.
