Travelers Motel

The room was clean and comfortable, and checkout was just as easy as check-in. I picked Travelers Motel because of the good reviews and its location about halfway between Anaheim and Seattle. I got in four hours late after unexpected accidents and I-5 construction, but the host was understanding and accommodating. They gave me clear directions for parking my oversized vehicle and made everything easy. I’m looking forward to coming back.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the quiet, cozy setting made a nice break from the highway. Traveler's Motel in historic Cottonwood is a small family-owned place with a lot of charm. It’s right off I-5 and about 10 minutes from Redding, so the location is handy too. Alicia, the owner, made me feel welcome with warm, personal service and a real eye for the details. This was the best motel stay I’ve had in a long time, and it felt like being at home. 10/5 if I could. Book it, you won’t regret it!

The dog run was a nice feature, and even though the motel is near the freeway, the rooms are quiet and well insulated. They’re on the small side, but very clean and have all the amenities. Great management, and close to everything you need. I’d move the smoking area from right in front of one room to somewhere behind the dog run. All in all, a nice little motel. I’m here now and think it’s a cool place.

Sad to hear the motel sale is pending, so hurry if you want to stay. This is a charming classic roadside motel in an Old West town, with great management and an excellent location. Getting back onto I-5 is super easy. The rooms are big and clean, with good Wi-Fi, a fridge and microwave, hot water, and freezing cold A/C.
