The location is convenient for downtown, and the apartments themselves have some good features: floor-to-ceiling windows, solid soundproofing, good water pressure, and plenty of hot water. The common areas are decent, though the treadmills are often broken. They’re also very dog-friendly. Beyond that, I’ve had a lot of problems. Management is poor, even though the person at the front desk is pleasant. Maintenance often closes requests without doing the work or even looking at the issue. The walls and windows were dirty when I moved in, with grime built up on the sills, and the trim looks like a bad DIY job. Toilets don’t flush well, there’s little security, and people who don’t live here often get in. Packages are regularly stolen, and something always seems to need fixing, including elevators, the trash chute, and key fobs. A train passes about 50 yards away two or three times a day, sounding its horn loudly, including after 10 PM and before 7 AM. The parking passes mostly work, but getting the scanner to read one and raise the gate can be frustrating. It’s also really expensive. Look elsewhere first.

With a new job opportunity came a very last-minute move, and working with Ann Arbor City Club made a stressful situation much easier. Nicole was friendly, quick to respond, and thorough, even with so little time to coordinate everything. I need plenty of details to feel comfortable moving ahead, and she answered every question clearly and promptly. The whole process felt organized and reassuring. I really appreciated the effort and care she put into helping me make the move happen, and I highly recommend Nicole and the Ann Arbor City Club team.

I’ve been living at Ann Arbor City Club Apartments for almost 10 years, and I’m happy here. The location is what I love most. Walk out the front door and local shops, places to eat, and friends are all close by. The staff are kind and ready to help when I need it. Nicole in the office is such a fun, friendly, kind presence. I can count on her whether I need help with an apartment issue or just want a friendly chat. Thank you, Ann Arbor City Club.

The location is the one thing this building has going for it. I’ve never dealt with a management team so unhelpful, dismissive, and bad at their jobs. They don’t respond to emails or calls, and before move-in I wasn’t sent any apartment information or even a lease. The billing statements are repeatedly inaccurate and messy. Maintenance requests take ages, if anyone acknowledges them at all. I can’t recommend living here. Consider the location, but proceed at your own risk.

Living at Ann Arbor City Club Apartments gave me a quiet, cozy space in a lively part of A2. The gym is excellent, the Zen Garden is calming, and the community activity room can suit different moods and levels of sociability. Management and maintenance were caring, helpful, and personable. When I got sick and had to move out unexpectedly, management made the process easy. A2 City Club was a great experience for me from start to finish.
