Best Western Anthony/West El Paso

Breakfast was pretty picked over by 7:30, even though it starts at 6:30. There was one pineapple yogurt, one Twinkie, one mini bagel, and several other things were down to one or gone. Our room wasn’t filthy, but it didn’t look like it had been cleaned after the last guest: hair in the shower, dust on the coffee maker, and a really dirty floor that looked mopped with a filthy mop. After staying at a much nicer Best Western in Louisiana the night before, this place didn’t feel like a three-star hotel. We were disappointed and won’t return.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and it was fine otherwise. I was woken at 3:30 am by loud banging, like a dumpster being emptied, and breakfast was very minimal, just OK. The reservation issue also bothered me. My husband told the staff member we had two dogs and was quoted a price, but when I checked in she raised it and said she hadn’t known about both dogs. If there was a mix-up, we shouldn’t have been charged extra after agreeing on the price.

We booked by accident, but it turned into a great mistake. Ophelia at the front desk was so friendly, sweet, and helpful, and her lovely smile and warm nature made our stay special. The service and the cleanliness, including in our room, were great. We’ll be back. Thank you!

The breakfast had plenty of choices and everything tasted fresh, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. Staff were friendly and helped with everything I needed, so the stay was smooth and stress-free. It was well worth the price, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Anthony, TX.
