Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-Apopka

The good part was breakfast. It had some variety each day and was good. But the room had damp carpets and a musty smell when we checked in. I told the front desk, and they shampooed the carpet, leaving it even wetter but improving the smell a little. When I asked why they did that, they said they didn't have another room for us. The bathroom is dated, with old 70s-style sliding shower doors, and the sink faucet was mounted at 3 o'clock, which was super weird to use. If I were in the area again, I'd probably book somewhere else.

We picked this place on the way to Disneyworld because it's about 45 minutes away, with free parking and breakfast. If you're traveling through, remember that most Orlando hotels charge for parking, usually $25 or more per night. Our family had a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and well laid out, and we didn't hear other guests while we slept. Breakfast was pretty good: sausage, eggs, a few kinds of dry cereal, yogurt, toast, and a juice station. It was a quick bite before heading out, and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks to the team for great service and keeping the place clean. We'll definitely stay here on future trips through the area.
