People live there. The police show up two or three times a week, so it must be very safe.

I stayed for 8.5 months, through renovations and a management change. The new manager, Ramone, is a very nice guy who tries to help however he can. It’s usually fairly quiet, although police were there a lot, and there were a couple of drug busts during my stay. It’s the cheapest place in the area. The ice machine doesn’t work and the laundry facilities are horrible. Still, it’s great if you’re in a hard spot.
I’ve stayed in places across the spectrum on business trips, from motels that shouldn’t have a license to hotels with concierge and valet service. I stayed here once years ago and wondered how it hadn’t been shut down. Now, with new ownership, Mike is working to rebuild the place’s reputation. Under managers like him, Budget Inn is second to none for customer service and satisfaction. It’s easy on the wallet, but the staff still treat you like family. I left completely satisfied and highly recommend it.
The new owners are renovating the whole hotel, and the work they’ve done so far with the building and staff has been great. Mike, the Front Desk manager, has gone above and beyond to make the atmosphere welcoming and the stay memorable. The customer service here is five star.
For $600 a month, you can sample the good life and make memories you’ll soon forget. The key cards reset every hour, which is great for security. The staff treat you like family, asking when your last payment was as if you live there. My room had a modern chic look, high vault ceilings, random vintage furniture, and an architectural masterpiece of a bathroom with double doors. The mattress was so firm it’s kept generations tossing in their sleep. The atmosphere is unmatched: you can hear other residents’ conversations, and they may check on you at 4 am by trying to get into your room. Lambeau Field should license this motel for people who refuse to pay ridiculous Green Bay rates. Come for football, stay for the Budget Inn of Appleton!
